DESERT SHADOWS INN FEATURED
IN PALM SPRINGS LIFE
Desert Shadows Inn Resort & Villas in Palm Springs has always made it one of their objectives to bring nude recreation to the general public in high end, first class, main stream publications. In the past, they have been mentioned in Palm Springs Life, California's Prestige Magazine with a huge national and international following, on three separate occasions.

In April, Desert Shadows Inn was featured in a 10 page pictorial in Palm SpringsLife. This is the first time that photos of nude people have ever appeared in this publication. The subject was summer bathing suit fashions. The location was the pristine, au natural Desert Shadows Inn Resort & Villas. The title was "OVERDRESSED."

It was quite a coup for Desert Shadows Inn to be photographed and written up so seriously in this highly regarded magazine. And, more importantly, the naked figures that served as the backdrop were only slightly blurred. The attire of the au naturel guests was credited to their Maker.

In the text, Palm Springs Life wrote, " Desert Shadows Inn Resort & Villas began in April, 1992. A few years later, the property underwent a $1.1 million dollar expansion, adding a full service restaurant and tennis court and a second heated pool. The couples sank another $5.8 million into the property in 1997 adding more pools, three waterfalls, and in December of that year, opened SPA at DESERT SHADOWS, the full-service spa."

"Later on the site of an inn once owned by Doris Day, Desert Shadows opened 21 villa suites; the resort now sits on an entire city block.. This is truly an oasis where summer never ends." The article concluded.

"The editor of Palm Springs Life, Stewart Weiner, has been a fan of Desert Shadows Inn and their progress for years." said co-owner Ray Lovato. "He has published photos of our previous expansions and did a piece on the fact that our tennis court sits on the site of the original Lone Palm Inn that was owned by Errol Flynn."

" In talking to Stewart at the grand opening of the Orbit Inn, I mentioned an idea that I had to film a fashion shoot at a nudist resort. He loved the juxtaposition and inherent humor in the idea. Two weeks later we were shooting with two professional models from L.A. and real naturists in the background."

" We are so honored," Ray concluded, " that such a prestigious, international magazine would step up and look upon Desert Shadows as Palm Springs' premier nudist resort and publish naked bodies in the background. It is another step forward for mainstream acceptance."
